Short Tips – Making Clear Bases for Figures

  1. Materials: use clear plastic sheet, thin acrylic, or recycled transparent packaging (1–2mm thick).

  2. Cut to size: trim into small round or square bases (about 1.5–2cm).

  3. Drill/pin hole: if the figure has a peg under the foot, drill a tiny hole in the base for a snug fit.

  4. Fix in place: attach with clear super glue or epoxy.

  5. Finish: sand the edges smooth so the base looks clean and stays almost invisible in a diorama.

💡 Tip: For removable figures, use clear PVA glue instead of super glue so you can detach them later.
