Introduction

During the Vietnam War, the Patrol Boat, River (PBR) became the eyes and ears of the US Navy in the Mekong Delta. Fast, heavily armed, and shallow-drafted, these boats could navigate narrow waterways and respond swiftly to ambushes.
This 1/35 diorama captures a tense patrol on the Mekong: a US Navy PBR31 MKII cutting through muddy waters, its crew on high alert, while hidden dangers lurk within the dense jungle.
