Scratchbuilt Tango

Rather than being assembled from a commercially available resin Tango kit, our finished river craft is individually scratchbuilt using a combination of Formex/sheet material, resin parts, custom 3D-printed components, metal pieces and other detailing materials.

Any photograph of a commercial resin kit included among the reference images is provided solely to identify/reference the subject. The finished Tango offered here is not built from that resin kit.

Detailed Vietnam War Presentation

The model features the characteristic armored appearance of the Tango, including its large helicopter platform, armored side structures, gun positions, ramps, antennas, life rings, deck fittings and extensive operational weathering.

Positioned on the helicopter platform is a fully finished UH-1D Huey, professionally assembled, painted and detailed in a Vietnam War-era U.S. Army appearance.

Together, the two models create an impressive representation of Vietnam riverine operations and a distinctive centerpiece for a serious military collection.

Mekong River Display Base

A handcrafted water-effect base is included to complete the presentation and recreate the appearance of the river environment.
