Professionally assembled, painted and weathered 1/35 U.S. LVT-4 Landing Vehicle Tracked “Water Buffalo”, built from the AFV Club 1/35 Early Type LVT-4 model kit.

The LVT-4 was an amphibious tracked transport used extensively by U.S. forces during World War II, especially in Pacific amphibious operations. Its large open cargo compartment and rear loading ramp allowed troops, equipment and supplies to be carried directly from landing ships onto the beach.

This completed model is finished in an olive drab combat scheme with realistic fading, edge wear, dirt and operational weathering. The distinctive shark-mouth nose artwork, white U.S. stars and Y-5 markings give the vehicle a particularly striking appearance.

The model also includes a highly detailed open interior, allowing the transmission, driver compartment, seating and internal mechanical components to remain visible. The rear ramp can be displayed lowered, making it suitable as a centerpiece for a WWII Pacific landing or amphibious diorama.
